This African coffee from Ethiopia is considered “the cream of the crop”. The birth place of coffee is Ethiopia. Over 1300 years ago at high altitudes above the seas, coffee shrubs were discovered by goats. There are many legends concerning the discovery of coffee, but they all include Ethiopia.
Southern Ethiopia (Sidamo region) is where some of the most complex coffees on earth are grown.
This coffee is described in many ways: soft, smooth, rich-bodied, fine acidity, sweet, fragrant floral notes with a vibrant finish.
This is truly one of our most popular coffees and has been a favorite with many of our customers in the last 23 years.
