Do you store or warehouse the coffee?
Tradewinds roast daily to ensure your coffee is shipped at the peak of freshness. We do not stockpile or warehouse large amounts of coffee. You may rest assured you are receiving the freshest coffee available with your order from TradewindsCoffee.com.
What do you mean by you “roast” the coffee?
Tradewinds imports green coffee beans from plantations around the World. Upon arrival to our facility they are inspected for quality then freshly roasted.
How long does the coffee stay fresh?
The method of how you store your coffee depends greatly on the lifespan of the beans freshness. We recommend storing your coffee in an airtight container.
How is your coffee packaged?
Our coffee is packaged in valve pack bags. By using valve bags we can assure you that your coffee is as fresh upon arrival as the day it was roasted. Our bags allow for a shelf-life of up to 6 months!
Please explain the “Grind Types”:
Many of our customers that order online prefer their coffee “whole bean”. By ordering coffee in the whole bean, this means you have a home grinder to grind your coffee. Should you wish us to grind your coffee we typically recommend a “Universal Grind”. A universal grind is suitable for most home coffee makers. In the event you have a specialized brewing method (ie: espresso machine, percolator, etc) please select the applicable method when adding your coffee to the cart.
