Coffee description:
With its tropical climate and heavy rainfall, coffee is produced in abundance. The Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala runs about 450 miles along the eastern shore of the Arabian Sea. It is on the western slopes of the Ghat Mountain and Karnataka (formerly Mysore) to the north and east and Tamil (formerly Madras) that produces coffee on nearly 250,000 acres.
This coffee has nutty undertones due to the truly unique aging process. Beans are open warehoused so exposure to humid monsoon can occur. This makes the beans swell in size and takes on a mellow flavor.
This coffee is overwhelmingly sweet, slightly pungent with sharp, but full tropical fruit notes. It is extremely low acid.
This is truly an individualistic coffee and is worthy of a try!
