A touch lighter than our French roast, but much darker than our traditional roast.
This South American coffee stands up to this roast perfectly and makes a rich bold cup of coffee.
This is one of our most popular darker roast because it always delivers on its promise---not wimpy---but not bitter.
This coffee is also perfect for blending (just as is the French roast.) Should you have a favorite coffee, such as Sumatra or Guatemala, but the roast just isn’t full enough, just add Italian Roast. This brings up the fullness but still allows the flavor of your favorite coffee to come through.
