Coffee description:
Mexican Altura is grown in the Coatapec region of Vercruz in tropical volcanic soil. In order to be recognized as Altura, coffee must be grown at 4,000 ft. or above. Altura simpy means “high grown”.
Mexican Altura is a medium-light coffee, very mild in taste, with moderate acidity and a clean refreshing finish reminiscent of a fine wine.
This coffee surely stands alone perfectly or is an excellent blender with other coffees.
Mexican coffee drinkers often add a touch of cinnamon to the ground coffee prior to brewing — adding a distinct flavor and reducing acidity.
