Coffee description:
During Dutch colonial reign, Arabica coffee production began in Sumatra. This Indonesian coffee is grown just inland from the southern coast. The shrubs are grown in rich, volcanic soil on slopes of extinct volcanoes. The volcanic slopes, rich soil, and temperate climate produce a most extraordinary coffee.
Sumatran coffees is not sold by regions (as are many coffees), but actually by the ethnic group that raised and worked the coffee fields.
Its unique, heavy syrupy richness, heavy body plus low acidity makes for a wonderful cup of unforgettable coffee.
One of the most popular specialty coffees available.
